Metal Clad Switchgear composed of compartmenst which are
separated between each other by metal plates.
Thereby, in case of any failure in one of the compartments,
it can be kept in the relevant section and therefore the problem is being
prevented from passing to other parts of the switchgear.
Possibility to add new cubicles at right or left of the
metal clad if there is a need due to revisions or new projects.
Maximum safety.
By virtue of draw out type circuit breaker, it is easy to
operate between movable parts during maintenance and fault.
Some application areas are energy generation and
distribution facilities, transformer stations, mines, cement industry, petro
-chemical industry, coal iron and steel industry, pump stations, airports,
ports, railways, large scaled shopping malls, hotels, business centers and
hospitals.
Resistance to high currents and short circuits.
All compartments are separated between each other with
grounded metal shutters. Threfore metal clads are complete isolated systems.
Spare parts can be changed on site because of the bolted
structure.
For all current values there is one dimension.
It is easy to change draw out type MV Circuit Breakers
between the panels for spare purposes.
Maintenance, reoperation and assembling can be done from
back or front side of the panel.
Each compartment has its own pressure release cover.
Incorrect maneuvers are prevented by electrical and
mechanical interlocking systems.
Busbar compartment of the metal clad is a metal compartment
provides energy transmission between panels.
It includes conductors which have
resistance against high currents or short circuits, epoxy resin divider
insulators and wall bushings
Panels can be extended via busbars for both side by using
bus jointing aparatus.
Circuit breaker compartment contains MV Switching devices
(SF6 or Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Vacum Contactors) together with their
carriage.
Busbar and Circuit Breaker compartments are seperated by
metal shutters.
According to customer demands, voltage transformers and MV
fuses can be placed in the carriage.
As a matter of providing continuous
energy, circuit breakers used in cubicles with same current levels can be
replaced easily and rapidly.
Circuit breaker can be taken into service and test position
safely and without having any obstacle by smart moving system of the shutter.
The carriage of circuit breaker is grounded by earthing and
contacted with the main earthing of the panel.
By the interlocking system,
earthing switch can not be closed when circuit breaker is in service position.
Condition information of circuit breaker is being
transferred to LV panel by socket plug system.
As per the requirements of the client, different
type of circuit breakers can be used in our Metal Clads.
